Pirate stories, grand adventures and quests for treasure and more

Open waters, treasures, it's a pirates life

High seas, hidden treasure, questionable life choices, and a lot of dramatic shouting. Dive in if you’re ready for adventure, danger, and a little bit of glorious chaos.

Channeling my inner Dom Toretto. Whoever said you can’t choose your family never experienced the joy of the found family trope!

Books with friendships so strong, they might as well be family. Some fun, some bittersweet, some toxic.

This list is incomplete, I’ve just added books that I have read and know are found family so please please please give me recommendations!

A list of every GOOD pirate or shipboard book so far

• Must include being on a ship in the water (ie not space pirates tho we love them)
• pirates preferred
• crew preferred (ie not just a romance aboard a ship. Let’s have crew problems and ship conflicts)
• recs welcome (you must think they are good, not just ship related!)
• yes I included some nonfic or interpretive historical fiction in here
• ahoy matey

Pirate books I’ve come across— both good and bad

For the Fae and Flame Society book club, often our spring book bingo includes a square for 'Deaf/Hard of Hearing Representation.' Here is a list of books as such!

I love books set at sea or have an association. Really want to read more of this genre.
