Recs if you like This Immortal Heart...

Just a list of books coming out in 2026 that I’m really excited for :) it will be updated as the months go by! It will be a mix of: high fantasy, romance fantasy, sci-fi, gothic, horror, lit fic, historical fiction, retellings, poetry, romance, & more!!

All the greek mythology I can find out there! There is a lot of Percy Jackson and then quite a bit more. A mixture of more modern retellings and also the books and plays they're derived from.

books inspired by a range of mythologies (mostly Greek, Egyptian, & Hindu)

Greek, Roman, Arthurian, Norse, Celtic, Hindu, Japanese, and more!

Was it ever just a phase?

Retellings and reimaginings of all different types of Greek Myth, bonus points for centering female voices and experiences that were otherwise minimised in the originals

For When I Yearn for Ancient Greece

This is one of a few lists I'm making to help me organize my ideas for HRCYED 3.0. Feel free to take inspiration or comment with more ideas.

Fantastic retellings of Ancient Greek myths, gods, and monsters! From misunderstood Medusa to enchantress Circe, patient Penelope to triple-cute Cerberus - these reimagined stories really are epic…
