Enjoy my newest lit series, ‘Reading the World’, in an attempt to diversify your own reading and broaden horizons, I have included a mix of genres. Sensitive topics often lie ahead as history, social and political issues are usually the centre of this writing. Enjoy!

read around the world is a challenge to read from every country in the world. the author could be from that country or the book could be based there (kudos if both!). for me, i try to add in as many translated books and indigenous stories when possible.

note: while horrors such as war and colonization are unavoidbale in many stories due to how people are shaped by them, i try to find stories that do not always reflect suffering.

Fiction books set in the Bahamas
