I tried with this book, but the pacing was off so it felt like a slog. I got to 61% in the audiobook (around page 252). I'm not sure how it would have worked out if I had been reading it with my eyes instead of my ears. I think the pacing would have still felt off, but I did have issues with the narrators. I didn't like the voice the female narrator used for the MMC or the voice the male narrator used for the FMC at all. So it was annoying me and taking me out of the story.
I will say, I had an ARC of another book with a very similar premise (fake relationship, he's rich and she's not, Seattle) that I put off starting so I wouldn't get them confused. When I finally gave up on this one and picked the other up, I was instantly swept into the story. Do with that what you will...
I liked this book..however I did not love this book.
There were some plot holes that did not make sense. The biggest is why a billionaire is not flying first class from NYC to Seattle.
Overall I understand this is a fake dating book however I feel like the relationship between the two was extremely forced and not in a we are pretending kinda way and not even enemies to lovers kinda way.
