Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

So much LGBTQ+ history! A lot of this is centered in the US, though there are some exceptions and I'm trying to grow it all the time. Note that I have an HIV / AIDS list that a lot of queer history, especially around the 80s + 90s. So check that one out for more

A lot of lesbian longing; think portrait of a lady on fire but set in contemporary London; how the ways we experience the world can be so vastly different, and how kind and curious that can make us if we let it; how where we come from helps us find our home, whether that be in a place or in people; pls comment recommendations if you know any more books or films that explore these themes!
