Ivy I know what love is. After witnessing its devastation, I’ve shied away from it, Until Atlas. I never thought I’d ignore the red flags and wave a white one. Surrendering to Atlas in the most delectable way, I didn’t realize he’d been playing me all along Until I found myself at his mercy. They say love can heal all wounds, But what about the scars left behind? Atlas I don’t know what love is. I’ve never been touched by its light or fallen into its depths, Until Ivy. When I see something I want, I take it. And right now, all I want is her. Each move I make is calculated and methodical, Until I have her exactly where I want her. By the time she realizes it’s a trap, it will be too late. She’ll never forgive me, and I’ll never set her free. But I feel no guilt, nor remorse. Not when I’ll own every inch of her; body, heart, and soul. And not even Ivy herself will stop me. Author note: If you’re looking for a White Knight, you might want to look elsewhere. Atlas is an Antihero in every sense of the word. This book plays with the darker side of love such as obsession, infatuation, and the power plays made to obtain it. *Coerce is a complete standalone novel* Triggers: It goes without saying that this book contains dark elements that some readers may find uncomfortable including offensive language, graphic violence, and sexual situations. All readers should be over 18 so I don’t have to answer any awkward emails from your parents or dodge pitchforks when I’m doing my weekly shopping.

REVIEW:
Rating: 4.5/5
POV: Dual
Heat Level: 5+/5
Tropes: Age Gap (17 years); Secret Identity; Forced Proximity; Antihero MMC; Virgin FMC; Stalker
Kinks: Knife Play; Praise Kink; CNC bordering on Non Con
Likes:
* the twist and turns. I would make a guess as to what was happening or going to happen and then next thing I knew I was thinking I was wrong then something else would happen and so on. All the way to the end
* I liked that the FMC was a "strong" FMC but she was also sassy and snarky and it made her a much more likable FMC even with her young age
* My jaw dropped open a minimum of 5 times reading this book, no lie.
Dislikes:
* I felt like with the CNC that honestly a few times was a bit more Non Con and with the knife play that there should've been a CW in the beginning of the book. Personally they don't bother me BUT I do believe readers should be warned about content like that in a book.
Synopsis:
From the prologue this book had me hooked. I haven't read such a good twisty suspenseful dark romance in a long time. Atlas might be the top tier stalker of all time as well. Like other dark romance MMC's - take notes! This man knows what he's doing... and I ate it up and fell for every single thing he did! In my eyes that's some superb writing. Was the book perfect? Absolutely not. BUT when I say my jaw literally dropped open NUMEROUS times I am not exaggerating. The FMC is an actually enjoyable "tough" FMC because along with her toughness and a little bit of a backbone she's also sassy and snarky which made her inner monologue and conversations really funny.
And to top all of this off - this book was flaming hot! On FIRE!
I would absolutely reread this book and I will read more by this author.
Thank you for buddy reading with me Lori & Izzah! :)
