These books have the potential to live rent-free in your head the rest of your life. You're welcome!

If I missed any LET ME KNOW!

Yes, queer and trans folks play sports. These are those books.

Whether it's about the romance or the sport or both, these books at the very least contain characters who practice and/or care about sports, are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and possibly do the kissy

Queer romance set in, on, around, or a stone's-throw-away-from a hockey rink. Pro-level, Ivy league or Rec-level, we don't discriminate here.

most of these ive read a few i haven’t but they’re all gay ! most of it is hockey :)

queer hockey romance books

My fave MM romances (most are hockey related lol)!

For those of us who love that purrfect nickname.

I haven't seen a list like this so I wanted to make it :D If you have any suggestions feel free to write a comment!

You love hockey romance, but are tired of seeing the same books recommend over and over? You want to diversify your reading and read more disabled, fat, BIPOC and queer stories? I have some recs for you! (A lot of these are from talk_about_swoon on Instagram)

Hockey Romance

If like most people, you’ve read Heated Rivalry and are craving more, here is a big list of mlm hockey romances!

Seeing any books or series you’d like added? Suggestions are more than welcome!

Please note i have not read most of these, so i cannot tell you the tropes or content warnings. I do believe nearly all of these have smut.

I’ve read a lot of not great KU titles. Here are ones worth reading.

LGBTQIA titles

MM books that take place (mostly) in Canada. If it's a series, I'll only add the first book.

Literally just hockey romance! Enjoy!

Basically, books with hockey and boys kissing boys.

Exactly what the title says! I tried to add in a good mix of genres, let me know if you guys ever want me to expand this!

IRL I never want to see someone injured, in a romance book, I love nothing more than a dramatic and emotional in play/on field sports injury that reveals someone’s true feelings. Bonus points if the injured person carries the other person.
