Absolutely love this book. Definitely worth 5 stars. It has me captivated the whole book. The ending leaves you hanging so can't wait until book 2.

I tried. It held so much promise at the beginning of the book but then the pacing started to feel clunky, and of course the way Odessa's internal thoughts were often formed as questions...it's just not for me.

If I'm being honest, the internal monologue is burying me alive. The plot is fine, but this writing...? I find myself reading and mentally editing as I go. Is this how people felt about Fourth Wing? 😅
