Recs if you like The Pull of the Stars...

every struggled to find actual lesbian/sapphic books when at the library or bookstore? so did I!

bc of said struggle, I started to curate a personal list of books that either has lesbian MCs and/or featured a primary sapphic romance.

i haven't read all of these, but I do try my diligence in confirming that they meet the above perimeters, since many books claim to be sapphic when they're not. this is an ever updating list, only fiction for now!

Historical fiction books with queer characters

queer historical fiction! comment recs or books that should be added<3

fiction books about ireland, featuring irish characters, written by irish authors.

Stories that tell the tale of sapphic life and love throughout time

Exactly what it says on the tin, books that feature queer nuns (some Christian, some of a more fantastical variety)

Books on my TBR with LGBTQIA+ characters or themes.

Fiction (and some non-fiction) across genres featuring plagues, poisons, palace physicians, healers, and pre-antibiotic chaos. If it involves herbs, plagues, questionable remedies, court intrigue, or a morally complex healer experimenting in the corner, I want it.

When you want to read something a step above trash

I created this list when I was looking for Irish literature recs and was surprised to see it didn’t already exist! Recommendations are extremely welcomed in the comments!

A collection of books by Irish authors that I've loved or am looking forward to!

Women loving women! In literature!

I got a request for a list of sapphic fiction/romances with ambiguous covers that wouldn't be flagged by their country's customs and subsequently tossed. Thought I'd post it here, in case it might benefit someone else!

Contemporary Irish lit picks and classics, either by Irish authors or set in Ireland. Erin go bragh. 🇮🇪

Eclectic mix of historical sapphic fiction depicting gal pals who happen to share the same bed in a way that is absolutely platonic 🥸
