Dating is hard. Dating in a small town? Impossible. Leave it to my little brother to come back home announcing he knocked up his fiancée and the wedding has been moved…to next month. When he tries to set me up with one of his football buddies, I tell him I’ll be bringing my own plus-one. Only problem? I’m hopelessly single. Enter Sullivan Scott, AKA my hero. We strike a deal: he’ll pretend to be my boyfriend, and I’ll use my mechanic skills to help him fix his boat. That’s it. No funny business, and definitely no feelings involved. Sully’s quiet and reserved, and I’ve been told I’m too much to handle on a good day. We’re opposites, and neither of us is looking for anything serious. I’m certain we can keep this strictly platonic…

My Thoughts
Just like the previous books in this series, this book was so much fun!! I've been waiting for Sully's story and this did not disappoint.
Like with all of Teagan Hunter's books, this story was laugh out loud funny. I loved Thea's parents in Slice of Love and I loved that we got to see more of them in this story. They are adorable and brought so much humor.
I already knew I loved Sully from the previous books, but he was absolutely swoony in here. I loved the juxtaposition of his quiet and intuitive side versus is commanding, sexy side *fans self* However, we got glimpses of his past that didn't feel fully fledged out and I wish they had been explored more. Sully is extremely private due to his difficult childhood and I wanted more from that plot line.
Thea was a fun and quirky character that I enjoyed but didn't fully connect to. While she had a ton of oddball characteristics I didn't feel like she was a very deep character.
The steamy scenes in here were top notch though! That scene at the autoshop had me like
