a collection of autistic coded characters in fiction [ recommendations welcome! ]

Romance novels and stories with substantial romantic subplots where at least one lead is explicitly neurodivergent. Every title is either own voices, has a character whose neurodivergence is confirmed within the text or by the author. This collection celebrates love across the full spectrum of neurological diversity, including Autism, ADHD, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Tourette's, Hoarding Disorder, PTSD, and more. Recommendations are always welcome!

Mostly children, middle grade, and ya books with autism representation. Strongly featuring autistic characters that aren’t only young white boys. It’s also strongly concentrated on own voices works, as much as possible, although that’s private information if the authors do not choose want to share publicly.

Autism is a spectrum. So we need more Books to show how divers that spectrum is. Without Masking and with a lot of Acceptance. Because it’s the system that needs to be fixed. Not the Person 💗
