Recs if you like Orconomics...

D&D-esque inspired list. Ive seen a bunch but not exactly what I was looking for, which is essentially, "rag-tag team of misfits with different powers/strengths go on a quest and get into shenanigans" I.e. Legends and Latte wouldn't fit here because they're not questing. Also avoiding lit r.p.g like Dungeon Crawler Carl cause that feels like cheating 😝

A collection of litRPG books, or simply books that could be a side quest (or whole campaign) in DnD and other RPGs!

A fun collection of D&D like adventure books or after adventure stories

Books where the main character is just that stubborn

The SPFBO contest started in 2015. Over 3000 novels have entered.

Facilitated by Mark Lawrence, SPFBO exists to shine a light on self-published fantasy. It exists to find excellent books that might otherwise have gone unnoticed. It exists to help readers select, from the enormous range of options, books that have a better chance of entertaining them than a random choice, thereby increasing reader faith in finding a quality self-published read.

This list compiles the champions from each year.

Finalists in the ‘Self Published Fantasy Blog-off’

Fairly self-explanatory, but the previous winners of the Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off Contest, run by MarkLawrence since 2015. All books are (or were) self-published at the time of judging, and are the first in a series or a standalone work.

An ultimate list of zany, quirky, Urban Paranormal/Sci-Fi/LitRpg/Dystopian and even a little side of Romance/Romantasy that reminds you how much more fun it is to stay home reading on a Saturday night!
