Macomber books can be very hit-or-miss for me and this one itself was sorta fitting with that. It was (just) entertaining enough that I didn’t feel like switching away & finding something else to read, so I did finish it. It doesn’t have any originality, but it does have likable characters with problems that are sorta fun to get into for a little while.
