Was interesting to see how Q has changed since book 1, though he felt more distant and I related more to Plum this book.
Was also cool to identify elements from the book(s) that made it into the TV show!
There seemed to be a lot of threads that did not end up nicely tied up, such as the other people (librarians) who were also trying to steal the suitcase, and Asmo only later gets a random throw-away line saying she found Reynard. Penny is an ass, but what he was doing and where he was was super interesting, and I'd have liked more of that.
Alice being brought back felt really forced, like the author just wanted Q to sort of end up happily ever after.
Ending felt good, I was happy overall with how things ended up, just felt a little rushed or compact.
Like Q being a GOD and what he felt and why he was suddenly cool with leaving Fillory?
