This is the second book in the Solace sisters series, so some familiar characters with some old grudges. Several years ago Gillian and Axel had a fling and that resulted in their daughter, Stella. He broke her heart and she decided she wasn't going to tell him about the baby. No one but Gillian knows the true paternity of her daughter.
Time has passed and Axel is now a billionaire but still under his father's thumb. His father wants him to acquire some property to build condominiums, but Gillian thinks that the property would make a great park since it right by the school. She is determined to not let him win. Of course, there is still chemistry between the two and things definitely explode. But when there are secrets and lies and they all come out, what will be the outcome?
