Recs if you like Magical Girl Incident, Vol. 1...

the coquette femme aesthetic is of the utmost importance

(mostly sapphic) good queer books on my personal wishlist that have an added benefit of looking beautiful on the shelf!

my favourite manga with thoughtful queer rep!

Today is Superhero Day, so we made a list of books we love starring queer superheroes (with the understanding that sometimes the line between superhero and supervillain is razor thin...and that magical girls are a flavor of superhero...). (This list is presented by Duck Prints Press, the indie publisher focused on publishing queer art and stories by queer creators! A group of us collaborate to make these recommendations.)

Have you ever ran out of magical girl series to check out? Do you always crave for more? Do you want to discover more that aren’t that well known? Well then welcome here, Mahou Shoujo fans, for I have got you covered! This is the ultimate gather up of magical girl mangas/webtoons/manhwas/light novels :D! This only has the first/second volume or omnibus for these series. I will add other recs in comments if I can’t find the book here or it’s a show series! (Not gonna promise all series are good)
