Harper and Levi first meet when she wins a case over the Ackermans in court. She asks why he is there, her case involved his father, not him. He says that he likes watching, especially her. Levi is taken with Harper, not only because she is beautiful but she is whip smart and sassy. The Ackerman family decides that they want to convey that they are not angry about the case and invite Harper and her client and family to a retreat in the mountains. When Levi arrives, it is storming and he gets wet and cold. He decides to get out of his wet clothes just as Harper walks back in from being on the back deck, finding him nearly naked. She helps him with a towel and explains that she got there early and was let in by a staff member who then left to get supplies. The storm outside is getting worse and it looks like Harper and Levi will be stuck there alone together. Maybe this is their chance to explore that attraction between them and see where it goes?!
