Can two rival families unite and protect both families from being eliminated? Sophie and Luca first meet and because they don't know who the other is, they have a one-night stand and then move on. Of course, they aren't going to remain unknown to each other. In fact, they are promised to marry for the protection of both families. While they undeniably are attracted to each other, they really don't like each other or the situation. Luca insists that they have to go through with the marriage. He also insists that they can never be together physically, but that eventually doesn't matter because Sophie has another surprise: she's pregnant.
