Recs if you like Ghost Cities...

A list of books that embody the kindness, joy, and community, along with the curiosity for radical justice, deep analysis, and deconstruction of systems of oppression that I see on this platform. In honor of PB’s birthday (Aug 13, I've been told)! I welcome everyone to leave a book + their explanation for why they feel it embodies PB energy in the comments; there’s no right or wrong answer, I would love to see everyone's perspectives!

Suggestions always welcome! SFF books written to be humorous, satiric, or otherwise meant to entertain and make readers laugh. (This was a quest idea i was thinking about, but I'm not committed enough to this to make it)

Some great fiction from Down Under

"The most prestigious literary award in Australia" which has been going for 70 years, features some much beloved Aussie writers and is named for a prolific 20th century author. I've only included winners from 2007 onwards because the official website is terribly set up and I don't trust Wikipedia without another source but I'll update if I can happily confirm. Again, the longlist is always interesting, please have a look if you want more Aussie reads!!
