They took everything from us. Our home. Our family. Our freedom. We’ve been forced on a trip from hell with people we hate. With each step we take, we lose hope of ever making our way back home again. These people have a wicked agenda. We are their prey. They’re brutal and cold. Every person in their group has twisted delusions. I need for my other brothers to rescue us and release us from our prison. As time quickly passes, I realize no one is coming for us. The only way we’ll escape is if we save ourselves. I’ll have to be smart and calculating. The timing needs to be just right. When we make our great escape, I’ll finally be at liberty to explore the feelings I have for my brothers. Love, so pure and innocent, can’t be a bad thing. Desperate. Starved. Agonizing. Desire. The way I ache for my siblings doesn’t feel wrong. I can no longer fight against these forbidden cravings. We’ll love in secret and hope our parents don’t find out. Because, if they do discover what we’ve done, it could mean banishment, or worse. Whatever happens, we’ll figure it out. We’re in this together. Nothing will keep us apart ever again. Our love is untamed. And we are the unruly.

Book 4 in the Wild Series
Dark (very) and Taboo
I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Basic Plot: This book picks up where the previous one left off with Ronan, Raegan, Destiny, Dakota, Declan and Sadie abducted by the strangers at their homestead who turn out to be cult wanting to indoctrinate them into their group to be breeders or children. The others are back at camp regrouping after the abduction and fire waiting for Atticus and Eve to arrive with supplies and aid. Once they arrive Rowdy, Ryder and Wild leave the homestead to rescue their people. Raegan gets herself, Sadie and the two youngest boys away from the camp where they encounter their rescuers who send Wild back to the homestead while Rowdy and Ryder continue on to save the others which they do. The rest of the book is about return home and dealing with their individual traumas and conspectuses to the actions they took while abducted, while also fighting off one final attack from the cult.
Takeaway and Reflections: I love these books, they make me question everything and keep me on edge which I love. This book in particular was very reminiscent of the original "The Wild" in darkness. I found both "The Free" and "The Untamed" to be much lighter in tone. This book was very dark and very gory, which I loved but is not for everyone, so in addition to the taboo trigger warnings please heed the other warnings as well. If your looking for more of "The Wild" this is the book for you. Also, get excited because K Webster has left it open for more book in the series, which I am here for.
Favorite Quote: "It is simple," Ronan whispers. "Simple to us. Just because no one else understand it doesn't mean it's not the easiest thing in the world for us."
⭐ARC Review⭐
This story was an adrenaline pumping rollercoaster of stress. After the griping cliffhanger of The Untamed, we pick right back up with half the Jamison family being abducted and the fate of the rest of their family unknown to them. Ronan, Reagan and Destiny go through so much trauma while trying to survive and ultimately try to escape the trespasser group. I absolutely cried for Ronan and what he had to endure. He such a love and strong character and it was heartbreaking to see him broken. I love that Reagan was as sassy as ever, fighting against her captures. She wasn't going down with out a fight. And she was determined to save all of her family. The second half of the book is also so wonderful. Ronan, Ryder and Reagan healing from their shared trauma, finally giving in to their feelings and finding acceptance of their love. I hope we get to see more of the stories from The Wild Series.
