Childhood friends through Elisse's brother and Theo's best friend Morgan are brought back together after Theo does a favour for Morgan and now there is slim to no chance of them trying to pretend the other doesn't make them feel things that are platonic. Theo and Elisse are stretched thin in life responsibilities and torn between what they really want to do ie Theo focus on cars and Elisse taking over running the garage but there are expectations and judgement for both to deal with. I loved how things really shifted between them when Theo took her skiing when she lost the bet. Elisse and Theo are perfect for each other and balance each other out, the fact that they can build a race car together is the icing on the top so you needed them to make it together at the end so they have a HEA!
