Recs if you like Last Rituals (Þóra Guðmundsdóttir, #1)...

Think the Nordic life is all about the cozy comforts of hygge? These books will make you think again. They focus on darker side of mysteries, thrillers and suspense. Featuring tortured detectives, highly disturbed murderers, inhospitable environments and meticulously insidious crimes!

All books written by authors from Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, and Norway (one might be from Estonia but oh well).

Books that are part of a series I’ve only included the first book

Fiction books set in Iceland

This is a collection of my favorite thriller/mystery authors! I have chosen my favorite book of theirs as well as all of the books by them, that I have yet to read! So this is a mix of faves and tbr, as well as YA and adult! I have excluded authors that I have no interest in reading from again, even though I have loved one of their books.
