Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

“We have found you a match.” You've found me a what now? I wasn’t looking for a relationship. I wasn’t looking for anything. But my parents went behind my back and arranged a marriage. Scrap that. They arranged a nightmare. And there’s no way out of it. A contract is in place, and I’m set to marry the man New York has dubbed The Ice Prince. He’s cold, calculated, and a downright classhole. That’s right. Someone with a bit of class but an absolute ---hole. He might be every girl’s living fantasy, but he’s not mine. Every girl might swoon over those perfectly sculpted abs, but not me. Girls might be fooled by those sexy sky-blue eyes, but I won’t. Until I move in with him. The tension is thick, the air is palpable, and my body is reacting. When something so cold makes me feel so hot...I realize...I'm done for.

Christian and Sydney have been forced into a marriage by a contract between their families. There's just one problem -- they know from their one meeting in the past that they do NOT like each other. Christian decides that if they have to spend together, he's at least going to make it fun for himself and he needles and picks at Sidney every chance he gets. Soon he realizes that she is really hurt by the teasing he meant as a joke and apologizes. She accepts the apology, but then they both wonder if maybe there could be something to this arrangement for both of them after all.

The banter in this story was pretty good and while I say that Christian was picking on Sidney, she was able to stand up for herself; she wasn't a doormat just taking it all. She did take some of it to heart, though, and it was nice to see him apologize and make sure that she was ok.
