Recs if you like Scaredy Cat...

Romance and erotica filled with tantalizing terror, where one or more of the MCs is aroused by the presence of fear, either by being frightened or being the one to frighten. Extra points for masked menacers, chainsaw chases, or other forms of spooky stimulation.

💀 Think: summer camp slashers, cults, sweaty obsession, monster boyfriends, demon bargains, serial-killer romance, haunted lust, cursed vacations, blood under porch lights.

🧡 These recommendations range from zero romance and spice to scorching summerween smut.

🔞 Big warning label: a lot of these are very adult, dark, taboo, kinky, violent, or horror-heavy. Definitely check trigger warnings before diving in.

More than just containing "spooky season vibes" or relegating the supernatural to the -ber months, these erotica and romance books take place in the season of autumn, and sometimes specifically on Halloween. Any pairings (or +!), settings, and types of romance are welcome, as are suggestions!
