Recs if you like Love Letters for Other People...

There's a lot to be said about your 20s, but life afterwards is just as sweet! Here is a list of books where the FMC is age 30+ so you can enjoy a little more maturity and a totally different POV on life. I am a sucker for romances told through love letters. There’s just something about characters spilling their hearts onto paper that feels a thousand times more romantic than anything they could ever say out loud. It’s the exact reason Ex Vows owned my whole heart last year, and I’ve realized that whenever a book brings out this trope again, it clings to me in the best, most unforgettable way.

I went from being someone who opposed the age-gap trope to reading 5 Daddy Romances back-to-back haha... sometimes it's a divorced couple giving things a second chance and sometimes it's finding new love. But here's the ones I am loving this year.

My sister is in town and she's a highly discerning reader aka she won't read just any fluffy romcom. Her favorite romance shows are One Day and Normal People, so I've been searching my brain for women's fic that has a well-developed romance but this almost pessimistic vibe that something bad will happen. Are you catching my drift? Sweeping, gut punching, tortuous. Suggestions wanted!

It doesn't matter which niche of romance I'm reading... Nothing compares to the anguish of star-crossed love, doomed by fate and separated by circumstances... but these do come with the promise of happily eventually after.
