This entire book was so unhinged and I’m trying to decide if it was in a good or bad way. I think certain parts of the book should have been more developed. Idk if this is possible but there was too much spice that it made it hard for me to believe Eden and Roman actually loved each other. I do love the dual POV and getting to see Roman struggle with his feelings toward Eden and his promise to God. I hated how obvious he made it that him and Eden were a thing. I wish it was more secretive and leaning towards the more forbidden love track. Like the way everyone didn’t question it was kind of odd. I won’t lie I was very intrigued with the whole church being corrupted plot. It’s why I kept on reading cause I wanted to see if David would take if as far as he said he would. Overall a decent read but it could’ve been so much better if there was less spice and more development of the plot and Roman’s internal struggles as a priest. Cause why did they immediately start messing around 50 pages in

i got got by the instagram ads. this book did not hit at all for me, and i saw a lot of random errors and mistakes. the plot, the insta-everything, and everything else felt super random. also the blatant disregard for a safe word really fucked me up... i had to give it one star bc of that alone. i finished it, but i did skim a lottt
