Kasey is doing well with her life, but then her landlord decides that he is going to sell the building where she is living and she's about to be homeless. There is nothing affordable anywhere in the city, so she's soon faced with thinking outside of the box: there is a man who needs a live-in nanny for his daughter. This man, Matthew, isn't initially impressed with Kasey, but soon finds himself needing her to come through for him. She gets along well with his daughter when Matthew has to leave on a trip and when he comes back, they start to be intrigued by each other. They are both careful given their situations, but the slow burn is so worth it.
