Love on the Neurodivergent Spectrum
Romance novels and stories with substantial romantic subplots where at least one lead is explicitly neurodivergent. Every title is either own voices, has a character whose neurodivergence is confirmed within the text or by the author. This collection celebrates love across the full spectrum of neurological diversity, including Autism, ADHD, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Tourette's, Hoarding Disorder, PTSD, and more. Just like the regency-era list, this is for books with faeries set in the Victorian-era (and Edwardian, because there aren't enough of those for it to be its own list). As always, open to recommendations!
Historical Fiction with a Touch of Fantasy
Historical fiction with magic, whether a lot or a little. I've mainly included books set in the 19th century to the early 20th. Some don't specify what year they're set in but have the 'vibes' of that era.
First book in a series counts as the entire series.
Soft Male Leads
Some people like their male leads to be alpha chads. I'm not one of them. I like them soft. I like them anxious. I like them doing traditionally female jobs and roles and hobbies.
Mostly romance because that's what I read but other genres present.
Usually just adding the first volume in the series unless they are stand-alones or have distinctly different focus/MCs (most romance series).
