I have become obsessed with H.N. DeFore's books and Slice of Desire has made it to the top of my list. The character development throughout this book was chef's kiss and the plot!!!! Oh my goodness, I found it extremely difficult to put this book down (a lot of late nights and very tired mornings haha).

There were so many emotions throughout this book that at times I found myself having to take a breathing break so I didn't throw my Kindle across the room haha. Serenity and Emeric have such an amazing dynamic. The person that Serenity allows herself to become because of him is beautiful. Emeric brings out the absolute best in her and allows for so much room for her to grow and flourish. He only wants what is best for her <3
