All things written by Tahereh Mafi. Tahereh is an Iranian-American Author, best known for her YA dystopian series Shatter Me. She has many great books both in YA and middle grade that also spread across multiple genres.

She is also a mom to her young daughter with husband Ransom Riggs, another fellow author.

Young adult fiction that entertains, moves, and delights readers of any age. A mix of nostalgic fiction, fantasy, graphic novels, and romance that deserve spots as modern classic in the YA genre.

Mostly contemporary or young adult romances, sometimes cozy fantasy, of substance, without spice.

I’ve learned that I like when a YA romance book has characters with hobbies or talents that they’re obsessed with (& it’s basically their whole personality lol). I learn a lot of random facts while also appreciating people who actually pursue these interests. 😌
