A genre-inclusive and diverse list of horror releases coming in 2026. If I missed any or you have suggestions, please let me know. I will update periodically as new books are announced and release dates are solidified.

Y'all can like.. recs me some.. please ) + This is also a reminder i should read horror more, because why not, and they're fun and and — I hope yall have fun with this list, please educate me if i picked non achillean books as I've stated i have not read most of these, i will be updating over time.

Just a list of books coming out in 2026 that I’m really excited for :) it will be updated as the months go by! It will be a mix of: high fantasy, romance fantasy, sci-fi, gothic, horror, lit fic, historical fiction, retellings, poetry, romance, & more!!

A mixture of genres and age levels, but each book has a level of feeling like an escape room

I do note that 70% is horror, but I am biased in my reading so that doesn't mean anything yet.

Recommendations are welcome, just keep in mind I'm trying to avoid children and middle grade books and I'm very hesitant to include YA books- but please feel free to convince me.
