This is the complete series of Royal Covens, a "why choose" witches and vampires romance Royal Covens: Book 1 Four sexy vampires. One mortal-born witch. An ancient secret that will test them all. I'm not a very good witch. It's not my fault. Being born a mortal sucks and my black cat familiar follows me around like a security blanket. All the other coven brats make fun of me. My vampires don't seem to mind. They pose as my mentors and get Aunt Sandra off my back. My initiation into the Royal Covens is only three days away. They're supposed to teach me how to hide what I really am: a reincarnation of some ancient and powerful witch. I think they're just telling me that to get in my pants. What my vampires don't hide is their hunger for me, both for my blood and my body. That dangerous kind of thrill is going to get me into serious trouble. Royal Covens: Book 2 There will be a sacrifice at the witching hour—me. Okay, so throwing a shoe and casting my laxative spell didn't do me much good. Time to go to Plan B. I'm a reincarnated Fate Witch and rightful Queen of the Royal Covens. None of that is why I'm going to get out of this, though. I'm a mortal-born witch in this lifetime, which means I'm scrappy as hell. I'll use my strengths against their pride and get the Royal Covens to turn on each other. While they're cat-fighting it out, I'll use the opportunity to work together with my guys and make an epic escape. To everyone's surprise, Plan B worked! (Yeah, even I was surprised, I'll admit it.) We head on over to an underground retreat for vampires who royally pissed off the Royal Covens (see what I did there?). Anyway, they're all really nice and accepting except for this super hot vampire named Tiros. His first reaction when he sees me is to give me the bird. Yeah, he's awesome like that. Behind all that brooding and crudeness, Tiros is hiding something. Well, he's a master thief, so he's always hiding something, but I think he knows something about my past. I'll charm it out of him. Because yeah, I'm charming. Totally. Royal Covens: Book 3 This final trial is total bullshit. I'm a Fate Witch, which qualifies me to become Queen of the Royal Covens, assuming I can survive the final trial. Sarina's dying breath took all of the men in my bond and cast them beyond time and space, trapping them in alternate worlds that only my power can cross. Their fate is in my hands and I'll have to tap into my power now more than ever to get them back into my arms where they belong. Being my witch familiar, Bast is the only one of my guys who has managed to avoid this stupid trial. There's just one problem... he's stuck in his feline form. He can't hold me and comfort me like I want him to. Sarina cursed him to make sure I was alone. She thought the separation from my bond would crush me. Even in death, she still is a pain in my ass. As if fixing Bast and crossing worlds to find my guys and reunite our bond wasn't terrifying enough, I'm on the clock. If I fail the final trial before the Second Echo of Calamity arrives, Sarina will be resurrected and she'll destroy our world as we know it. Like I said, total bullshit. Royal Covens is a complete series where the main character does not have to choose and ends up with all six guys.

#1: CAPTIVATED
Could. Not. Put. This. Down.
From page 1 it gripped me, as Evie is a great character: strong, independent, self-aware, not gullible, doesn’t care what anyone thinks, good values … and a trouble magnet. Enter a bunch of hot vampires, conspiracy, power plays and a dangerous initiation and you get one wild ride.

This book does have a cliffhanger, but it’s no biggie since the complete trilogy is available. I strongly suggest just buying or borrowing the complete set—you’ll understand as you get into it.

#2: COMPELLED
Picks up right where [b:Captivated|44180655|Captivated (Royal Covens #1)|J.R. Thorn|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1551613175l/44180655._SY75_.jpg|68724248] left off, thankfully because it was a cliffhanger. Evie’s still trying to navigate the insanity she was thrown into, and re-bond with her mates so this book weaves life-altering action and kindle-melting heat, all while giving us a really fun look at Sonya in her role as Queen of Hell (See: [b:Seven Sins|54873240|Seven Sins (Blood Stone #1-3)|J.R. I don’t want to spoil anything for any of this world so I’ll just say READ IT. Or listen to it. Just … experience it, you won’t be sorry. I’m off to read book 3 in the trilogy,[b:Consumed|44798575|Consumed (Royal Covens #3)|J.R. Probably will re-read this down the line, it’s an addictive world.

Note:
I both read the ebooks and listened to the audiobooks.
Ebooks are formatted beautifully.
Audiobook, [b:The Vampire Curse: Royal Covens|54423727|The Vampire Curse Royal Covens (Books 1-3)|J.R. Thorn|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1594081008l/54423727._SY75_.jpg|71417059], is narrated absolutely perfectly. Narrator Vanessa Moyen has a very smooth voice (that even withstands speeding up the audio), perfect enunciation and great tone. A 5-star performance.
This book ends on a wicked cliffhanger; best to be ready with book 3,[b:Compelled|44293054|Compelled (Royal Covens #2)|J.R. Thorn|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1551904544l/44293054._SY75_.jpg|68815850]. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. ;)

^I feel like that line sums up this whole trilogy, (and the series that follows it, [b:Fortune Academy: Year One|46227269|Fortune Academy Year One (Fortune Academy #1)|J.R. This book is the exciting conclusion to the Royal Covens trilogy and picks up after a killer cliffhanger in book 2, so be sure you read them in order.
(Absolutely love the sneak peek at Lily and some of the rest of the crew from Fortune Academy!)
Definitely found myself wishing more real-world people could be like Evie. Maybe read this and take some inspiration from lines like this one:
“I didn’t do things to benefit me; I did them because they were the right thing to do.”—Evie.
