This was not my cup of tea, but I do understand why people would like it. It reminded me of The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, but written by someone that did not possess the same writing skills at Douglas Adams. There are a bunch of weird remarks and "jokes" that should be zingers, but they just fall flat. They seem awkward when just stuffed in everywhere without any good follow up.

I think that the idea is really great. God as a 19 year old boy that only cares about his own needs. However, it mostly annoyed me. I did not like all the rape similarities that were supposed to be funny. Oh, God turned himself into a bull and had sex with a woman. Hilarious! God thinks about becoming a small insect so he can walk under women's skirts and defile them. So much fun! No, it was poorly executed, and very disturbing.

I did not enjoy the ending at all, except for it being over. Everything was rushed, and the solutions were strange and did not really work. It was like Rosoff got tired and just wanted it to be over and wrote a single chapter that summed up everything so everyone became happy without thinking about explaining it.

So, yeah, for people who have not read anything by Douglas Adams or Terry Pratchett, or any other skilled author, this could be a good introduction to that weird kind of world, but I am not sure anyone that already has read better literature would be able to appreciate this. The idea was good, but poorly executed.
