I just reread Beguilement for the first time in over a decade. It's just as good as I remember, and it's still one of the more unique fantasy books I've read! I love the setting and the originality of the magic system. I'll admit, the significant age gap between Fawn and Dag does read a bit differently these days, but the book will remain a favorite of mine. Has anyone else here read it? What do you all think?

Loved revisiting this book after so many years. I remembered only the broad strokes, it was a delight discovering Fawn and Dag all over again.
