Recs if you like Earls Trip...

Some people like their male leads to be alpha chads. I'm not one of them. I like them soft. I like them anxious. I like them doing traditionally female jobs and roles and hobbies.

Mostly romance because that's what I read but other genres present.

Usually just adding the first volume in the series unless they are stand-alones or have distinctly different focus/MCs (most romance series).

Romance Books by Canadian Authors. All sorts of romance (sweet, spicy, dark, light, different subgenres, etc.) so long as it's CanLit.

Have not read all of these, based on Pagebound users knowledge of CanLit Romance as well as my own. Trying to have at least one for each author. Slowly populating this so if you have recommendations, I will happily add them.

it's just not that serious

Historical romances with modern storylines. Heroines who are smart, talented, and driven. A happy ever after means being able to continue her work; maybe he’ll even join her cause...

Books from different genres, all written by Canadians.

For anyone who enjoys historical romcoms/romances and whatever else is calling to me, especially people whose body doesn’t regulate temperature properly who have been in hell for the last two months. But really just anybody. Not beach reads or summer themed books.
