0 0As usual, I feel like there is zero urgency to rescue Garion's son, and frankly that is frustrating me. At one point Garion makes an internal comment about this and yet DOES NOTHING!!! Needless to say it drove me a bit mad. There is a lot of world building going on as Eddings has created a fairly large world and he wants to explore every corner of it. I loved finding out Errand's real name, but most of all my drive for continuing this series is the fact that Eddings took my favorite friendship and DESTROYED IT IN A MATTER OF 2 PAGES AND I AM ANGRY AND I NEED TO KNOW HOW HE FIXES THIS.....
Plot wise, it's a lot of traveling, a lot of meeting characters who might or might not be a one time only appearance, lots of sitting around having boring conversations, more about the prophecy is revealed and what Zandramas's motives might be and plenty of Durnik going fishing (this one is not a problem because I love Durnik)
