She's already planned to leave Fairwick Falls after being there for 11 months...until a rogue patch of ice lands her in mandated physical therapy. The problem? His money-grabbing brother wants to oust him as bank president based on an arcane 200 year old bylaw. Nash must act quickly to prevent Fairwick Falls' only bank from falling prey to his brother's scheme to sell to a large corporate competitor.Who better to be a wife-of-convenience than the woman who moved in with him...and whose lips he's dreamed of for months. They propose a simple health insurance for marriage until the bylaws can be changed. Then they can happily go their separate ways, no commitment necessary......right?

I’m very grateful I was given the opportunity to dive into this eARC as part of Elise Kennedy's ARC Team! I found this read to be a good experience! The book introduces us to Lilly, the commitment-phobic youngest Parker Sister, and Nash, her childhood crush. The central theme of this book is definitely marriage of convenience which unfolds in a captivating slow burn, where both characters harbor secret desires for each other.

This book also gives us elements of forced proximity and small-town romance, creating a charming backdrop for the blossoming relationship. Amidst the sweet moments, the story turns up the heat with some seriously steamy scenes. While the overall plot may be predictable, the book's strength lies in its ability to deliver a fun and engaging romantic comedy.

This tale is not just about love but also offers a generous dose of humour and plenty of swoon-worthy moments. Elise Kennedy crafts a narrative that keeps readers hooked, making this book a perfect addition to the romance genre. In summary, a satisfying and enjoyable read with a predictable yet charming storyline that will leave you with a smile!
