Every Move You Make (The Rugby Lovers)

Sloan Spencer

Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

He’s been watching her for years, waiting for the right moment. Isaiah Johanssen has built his life around two things: rugby and secretly loving his friend Robyn Cassidy. Since they met playing rugby in college, their stars have never aligned. But Isaiah isn’t worried—he has a plan. Professional rugby player Robyn Cassidy is determined to show Isaiah she wants more than friendship, but every time she tries to get his attention, the words escape her. Normally bright and confident, she finds herself tongue-tied around her longtime crush. So what happens when Del, her sexy and charming personal trainer, offers to be her flirt coach, only to find out he’s crushing on the same man? The same man who is now her head coach. Maybe it’s time Del shows Isaiah exactly what he’s missing out on. A spicy, friends-to-lovers romantic comedy with a guaranteed HEA, kink, and lots of praise. This is book 2 in the Rugby Lover’s series but can be read as a standalone.

"Suddenly I'm very aware that I - a damn virgin - made her come repeatedly like she did with a porn star. I'll be filing that tidbit of information away under the label Smug Male Satisfaction"

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my first Sloan Spencer book ever and now I consider myself a fan. Every Move You Make had me enthralled from the beginning. I just couldn't get enough of Dell, Zay, and Robyn. They were just too cute and perfect together. I cannot begin to tell you just how obsessed I became with them. I was hardcore fangirling over them. Spencer did what I consider to be a wonderful job with these characters. They were so engaging, funny, and super dynamic. They were not at all static and had several layers to uncover throughout this entire story. Trust me. They're are characters worth reading and getting to know.

I gobbled this book up to the point where I had several sleepless nights due to it. I caught myself reading this book until 2-3 am at least twice. It was super hard to put it down. If I could go back and read it for the first time again, I 1000% would. Can't wait to see what else Spencer has planned for the future.

Thanks to Sloan Spencer for the review copy, the following is my honest review.

First of all, I dare you to read the whole book and not have the Every Breath You Take song stuck in your head. Secondly, if you've seen any of the rugby players warm up videos and them thick thighs, you'd be like me going "Hey, we need more rugby romance." Well, Sloan Spencer has got you covered. This one has TWO rugby players and their bubble butt personal trainer. Everyone wins. Also they got amazing families, except for the heroine, hers suck but everyone else was great.

This was two idiots in love with each other but their timeline never matched up and when it started to look like a love triangle, turns out everyone wanna bang everyone. Light angst and full of longing until hero2 took charge to be the mastermind and made hero1 watch from the cuck chair to bring forth confrontation. It's brilliant. Happy Valentine's Day, y'all.

I still need to read the first one in the series.
