Paige meets Gavin Austin through mutual friends and they have one night together, agreeing it will only be for one night. He's having issues with his ex-girlfriend and trying to improve his public image, so Gavin asks Paige if she would mind pretending to be his new girlfriend. She agrees, but she also has a secret that she is hiding from Gavin. When the truth comes out, will they be able to find their happily ever after?
I liked these characters since they both grew throughout the book. Paige stood up for herself and she learned that sometimes you have to make people recognize you are valuable. Gavin learned that he didn't have to let someone else's mistakes color how he felt about his own future.
