Recs if you like Love Galaxy...

every struggled to find actual lesbian/sapphic books when at the library or bookstore? so did I!

bc of said struggle, I started to curate a personal list of books that either has lesbian MCs and/or featured a primary sapphic romance.

i haven't read all of these, but I do try my diligence in confirming that they meet the above perimeters, since many books claim to be sapphic when they're not. this is an ever updating list, only fiction for now!

We should all be reading queer, all year, but this list is full of upcoming queer books of all makes and models coming out in 2026. If you have a rec to add, just please keep in mind we’re looking for 2026 releases!

collecting all 2026 releases featuring sapphic romance!!

So many sapphic books are coming out this year, and I’m so excited to read every single one!

Every single Aardvark Book Club book pick since its inception. Updated monthly!

this is an ongoing list of lgbtqiap+ books (across all genres, and age groups) that are planned to be released in 2026. if you’re an arc reader, you can also check whether any of them are available as arcs!! feel free to suggest books to add, since I’ll work on this list over time as well 🥰

last books added in: january!

Any form of sapphic or w|w romance <3

Be the trend setter of your book club or bookish friend group by getting to know the authors of next year’s publication cycle. These books are all by new talent in the publishing world from both the Big 5 and small, traditional publishers.

Be sure to also check out these authors on social media for ARC opportunities, and show these authors some love by requesting a purchase with your local library, or pre-ordering a copy yourself!

novels that feature a reality show, and in exploring the behind-the-scenes, expose how scripted “reality” can be…

suggestions welcome.

sapphics in outer space science fiction. maybe they’re on a space ship or station, another planet or a moon. perhaps there’s a romantic pairing or maybe there’s just w|w pining. always trans+ inclusive.

I haven’t read all of these, so please drop a comment with a suggested edit or a book rec!

this list features upcoming books that feature sapphic MCs or romance and are releasing in 2026!

For those who love a good hate/dislike to love romance stories <3

inspired by my simultaneous binge watch of old seasons of love island and survivor, alongside the current season of big brother. Romance books that take place on/around reality tv/tv sets. Bonus points given to competition reality!

*** I have not read all books on the list! Open to recommendations :)
