Didn't realize how short this was, and maybe if I'd gone into it realizing it was a novella I would have been more okay with the pacing. But I felt like it was way too fast paced, insta-love. There was no conflict and anything close to conflict was resolved way too fast/not by our characters but by outside forces.
Was steamy for a scene or two but the rest of the book was so 'bullet point only' that the book was mostly over before I even realized that Gage was his first name not his last!
I don't want a book to drag, but I'm willing to read plenty of fleshing out and build-up, which this one didn't have. Was too condensed and predictable and all tell no show for me.
