Bring on those Gen Y memories! A list of books likely to give people born between 1981 and 1996 a lot of feelings.

This list is for those of us who grew up eagerly awaiting the Scholastic Book Fair, watching Reading Rainbow (or Wishbone!), and dreaming of a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.

Note: these are not books published in 1981-1996, but books that had a hold on the millennial generation.

Also check out the Dear America series, American Girl series & Royal Diaries series.

Despite them being on Pagebound, I cannot add "Jessica's Animal Instincts (Sweet Valley Twins Super Edition #7)" or "The Twins Go to College (Sweet Valley Twins Super Edition #9)" or "Good-Bye, Middle School! (Sweet Valley Twins Super Edition #12)" or "Elizabeth: Next Stop, Jr. High" or "Jessica: Next Stop, Jr. High". I plan to continue to add more books.

Sentimental Garbage is a podcast by Caroline O'Donoghue. Often the topic is a particular title/book, so this list is slowly curating the different books that are discussed. For those who enjoy reading and podcasts! NB: it doesn't include books of film media discussed unless they've also done an episode on the book.
