Getting hot and heavy with a chiseled billionaire is the perfect way to get over an ex. Getting pregnant isn’t… I’m a best selling author fresh off a bad breakup. Wyatt’s a sexy real estate mogul donating the writers guild winner a three-month retreat at his small town, 5 star resort. I didn’t know him, but when we first met at the awards gala, his piercing stare set my curiosity on fire. So when he motioned towards the bathroom I decided to act on an unexpected impulse. Ten minutes later we were fumbling to get our clothes on and trying to sneak out unnoticed. Panic sets in when I see him delivering the award. He announces my name and by the look on his face he’s as shocked as I am. A scandal like this could ruin my writing career and jeopardize his fortune. Trying to resist him at the retreat is impossible. Sneaking around makes it all the more fun. I'm trying to play it cool and not rush things. But my clothes are getting tighter and I'm not sure how much longer I can hide this baby

Annaliese and Wyatt meet at an event where the grand prize is a three month writing retreat at a resort. They have one night together following the gala and then Annaliese finds out that she is winner of the retreat. When she gets to the resort, she sees Wyatt again. She doesn't know that he is the owner of the resort. They both realize that there is more to their attraction, but neither is trusting of the relationship. What happens when things escalate and now there is a baby coming?
This is great storytelling in that I was so frustrated with these characters, especially Annaliese, on a number of occasions. Because of past experiences, she is quick to jump to conclusions and she always goes straight to the worst case scenario. She never gives Wyatt the benefit of the doubt or even ask him how he feels, she just assumes she knows how he is going to react. She takes a real journey of the course of the story. And just when it seems like she's finally figuring things out, Wyatt does exactly what she predicted he would do and really proves her right.
