Ah, manga. Enjoyed by the old and young alike!

Let's look back over the years, from classic titles like "Sazae-san", to current reads such as "Kimetsu no Yaiba" (Demon Slayer).

I'm hitting up the oldies first, so feel free to leave suggestions in the comments as I slowly add titles!

Some listed here may be for a language other than English, so these will be placeholders. If you dont see some here, then it may not be on GR or I just added interesting one due to space.

My attempt to get to know manga (and gekiga) though the medium itself. Starting with its roots in the 1940s post-war era and continuing with titles that had a major impact on its development.

Contains only works that are available in English translation. Multi-part works are listed with only the first volume.

My perspective is non-academic and western-influenced: Recommendations and additions are very welcome.

Manga series/ books on the atomic fighting robot, Astro Boy/ Mighty Atom. Includes both volumes and omnibus of the original series. Still updating as time goes by and more books are published or available (made for fun mostly ^^)
