Recs if you like An Illusion of Thieves (Chimera, #1)...

Aka my favourite fantasy subgenre where we get both magic and intricate plannings to pull off something previously thought impossible (usually a break-in of some kind) and often everything then turns out to be much more complicated than previously thought

(For series I only included the first book of each)

Fantasy inspired by Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Albania, Serbia, Malta, Slovenia, and/or Croatia (myths, setting, etc.)

corrections & recommendations welcome <3

Who doesn't love a good heist? Now what if there was magic? Or pirates? Or knights and kings? In this list you'll find stories set in fantastical worlds that feature or revolve around a heist. Also includes the occasional conmanship or mission that might not technically be a heist but has a very similar feeling. Recs and feedback always welcome <3
