Recs if you like The Spirit Thief (The Legend of Eli Monpress, #1)...

Aka my favourite fantasy subgenre where we get both magic and intricate plannings to pull off something previously thought impossible (usually a break-in of some kind) and often everything then turns out to be much more complicated than previously thought

(For series I only included the first book of each)

Who doesn't love a good heist? Now what if there was magic? Or pirates? Or knights and kings? In this list you'll find stories set in fantastical worlds that feature or revolve around a heist. Also includes the occasional conmanship or mission that might not technically be a heist but has a very similar feeling. Recs and feedback always welcome <3

These series openers feature ensemble casts and secondary plot arcs that stretch over multiple books. Multiple genres and eras of fiction are represented, and some series are complete while others are ongoing.
