This 2nd book in the series is the continuation of the story of Damien and Sofia. The Russos are looking to reclaim some lost power and their solution is to arrange a marriage with the daughter of the cartel leader, Javier. Needless to say, Damien and Sofia are both like, say what? Sofia is told that Damien is responsible for the death of her brother so she agrees to go along with the plan to get close so she can get revenge in some way. Of course, the more time that they spend together, the more things change. They start to really want to be together and build a real relationship. Sofia is a spitfire and for a while, the Russos have no idea what hit them when she first moves in. The two of them are adorable when they are no longer pretending that they don't want to be near each other, while still pretending they don't like each other. They aren't good at acting AT ALL!
