The plan was never to fall in love... The plan was to avenge my father's death. Hell, I knew better. Never fall in love with the mark. For ten years I have plotted and planned my revenge against Rafe DeMarco. He took the most important thing in my life away from me and I meant to return the favor. Except, I was wrong... Now, I need his protection. And I'm the fool who went and fell in love. The best laid plans and all. (Deeper is the finale of the Deep Duet. Start the duet with Book 1, Deep.)

Ugh just when I thought Rafe couldn't be any more of a good guy he does in in book 2, his sense of good and bad is top notch but you really want to shake him at times. I can not believe how Diana was able to cope with how torn she was over why she started off on this mission? escapade? revenge? and how Rafe makes her feel. There were quiet a few surprises and revelations that kept you hooked and I just love how with every book about the Blake Security guys you get to know all the others more even if they have had their book. I soo can't wait for the next in the series.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
