Knocked Up By The SEAL

Rebecca Waters

Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

I never thought I'd give up my v-card to my older single dad neighbor, and Navy Seal to boot. I had a work at the local bar to save money, get over my relationship, find the love of my life. I was on track until the gorgeous neighborhood handyman Jonah entered. You couldn’t not notice him working shirtless outside. 6ft tall…chiseled abs and an ex-military bod. I’m heating inside thinking of that experience…let’s get it !!! Jonah is recently divorced and fathering a teen that is almost my age. Being half his age gave him an excuse to resist my hunger for him. However little did I know he had the same lustful feelings for me. Three months in and trouble is on the way … a pregnancy test and two pink lines to show for it. This is going to get messy.

Claire has been attracted to Jonah, a much older man who is neighbors to her aunt for as long as she can remember. He is most definitely not entertaining the idea of a relationship with her and is pretty brutal in how he tells her so. Claire isn't really deterred, though, since she sets out to seduce him anyway. She's so successful, they end up with expecting an unexpected complication.

I wanted to like both of these characters. They seemed likeable, but their reactions and actions were sometimes immature and inane. If they would just talk to each other like the adults it's claimed they are, they could have avoided a whole lot of second guessing and heartache. But I guess that's what makes for a good story. They were entertaining, at least!
