She's a Wild One is a Small Town, Enemies to Lovers, Rival Family romance in the Wilds of Montana series, featuring Millie Wild! From New York Times Bestselling author Kristen Proby comes the final installment in her beloved Wilds of Montana series, featuring a small town, marriage of convenience, second chance love for the ages! I have loved Millie Wild for more than eight years. Since that summer long ago when we were inseparable, stealing moments, keeping our love a secret. And my girl has hated me for just as long. When my father found out about my love for Millie, the daughter of the rival family next door to us, he threatened everything I love the most if I didn’t let her go. My father didn’t give idle threats. I had to hurt her to save her. And for eight long years, I stayed away. But now, my father is dead and buried, leaving a caveat in the will that in order to inherit what’s rightfully mine and my sisters’, I have to marry and stay that way for one full year. There’s only one woman in the world that I would consider saying I do to. Millie is happy with her life, owning her coffee shop, enjoying her family. I deserve her glares, her snarky comments. Every moment of pain, from her or self-inflicted, is mine to own. She deserves so much more than me, standing on her doorstep, asking her to marry me. To help me. But she says yes. Yes to one year of being mine, and I plan to show her that she’ll be mine until the stars fall from the sky. With the name Lexington, I know that I’ve caused pain for not only Millie but the entire Wild family. Will I be able to convince my wild rose that I’m in love with her for all of the right reasons, or will the centuries-old family rivalry tear her away from me?

gasping squeaking wheezing screaming crying throwing up Okay, so, uhm... I feel conflicted about this book. I enjoyed this book more than I should have, even if it may not be the ideal way to end the series and it somewhat fell short of my high expectations. iykwim. I’ve really been looking forward to Millie and Holden book even from the very beginning of this series and I feel a bit upset since this book failed to exceed my expectation. Their main problem is not that complicated and instead I found some issues with the age gap that the author has describe for us. I hope this problem was solved and describe better in the upcoming series. Despite it all, I kind of enjoyed their banter and chemistry more than I should have, which isn't too horrible either. I adore how Holden always takes such good care of Millie. He is so sweet and delicate for her, it makes me squeaking wheezing swooning throwing up. The smutty and spicy scene might overwhelm me a bit, but that was still fine by me tho. And yes, I realize that this is the fifth time I've said it. As I indicated in the last book, the authors' portrayal of the town's surroundings continues to captivate me. I had the impression that I could see the area's natural splendor, hear the birds chirping, smell the clean mountain air, and become one with nature upon reading this book, or series since I've state it so many times. duh. Likewise, I also wanted to appreciate Sebastian York and Grace Grant for narrating this book. I adored how they vividly portrayed the characters and how well they brought them to life. I also value the fact that the Wild and Lexington families have finally reached a new understanding and are now a whole family. It highlights the found family trope that works so effectively in this book. Given that we get a glimpse of Dani and Bridger both in the epilogue and as the plot develops in this book, I was genuinely excited to see what the author will introduce us to in the next series. Although I sincerely hope Kristen Proby will publish the stories about the Lexington sisters soon, I suppose I still want to read the Blackwells sibling series as it is presently available. Overall, I had a great time devouring up this series. I believed that each couple's relationships were fascinating, adventurous, and intriguing. The trope of the found family that characterizes this interwoven series is incredibly charming and endearing. I strongly suggest reading this series if you're looking for a small-town romance wrapped with spicy-worthy banter and filled with swoon-worthy scene between each couple!!! 🐎❤️🔥
